Title tags define the title of a web page. Search engines pay particular attention to the words in the title tag. The title tag has been one of the most important factors in achieving high search engine rankings.

Meta description tags describe your page if it shows up in search results and often show extended site links. They are the default description in social media marketing links such as Facebook and Google+.

Meta keywords tags used to be important and reflect keywords people enter in search engines. Today, keywords hardly have importance, but since optimising a page's ranking is a cumulative effort, all options should be used.

Standard fonts are cross browser fonts (recognised by all browsers). These are the standard fonts:

Custom fonts have to be installed on your server or browsers won't recognise them. The same goes for any program on your computer, a font has to be installed on your computer before you can use it. Custom fonts can only be installed if they exist in .eot or .ttf format. You can override the global font on your control panel with any standard font.

Global font means the default font on all the pages of your website if you do not choose a font when adding content to your website via your control panel.

Contact forms are the best way for visitors to get in touch. An e-mail address or a "contact me" link on your website is a bad idea as your e-mail address is in the code of the web page. "E-mail harvesting robots" scan the internet for e-mail addresses and add them to spam lists, used by and sold to countless companies who flood your inbox with a relentless flow of unwanted spam. Contact forms take care of that problem and do not reveal your e-mail address.

Additional fields: you may want an additional field e.g. "address" or "coupon code".

Required fields are mandatory. The form can not be sent if a required field is empty. A message warns visitors if they left a required field blank. Required fields can be used to have visitors agree to your company's "Terms of Service".

Your new website will not have the exact same structure as your previous website. Pages might have different names and reside in different directories on your server. You may have less page because you discontinued certain products or services. This will result in "broken links".

Broken links are links on other websites (e.g. Facebook or blogs) or on search engines that lead to pages that no longer exist or have been displaced. Visitors get a "404 error message" (see below) when trying to visit a page that is no longer there. Most important of all, broken links are bad news for your search engine rankings. promoRockit redirects all broken links to corresponding web pages on your new website.

Visitors get a "404 Not Found" error message when the server can not find a requested page, either because the visitor followed a broken link or because the visitor typed a typo in the browser's address bar. Standard 404 error pages aren't helpfull and confuse visitors, who will most likely leave your website. Having a good Error 404 page is perhaps as important as having great content. It may not be your fault visitors land on error pages, but redirecting them to your home page is as good as a second chance to re-engage visitors and have them stay on your website.
